Clearance Officer

In Fall of 2020, we were excited to welcome Kathryn back to the Dream Team. Kathryn had worked with us 9 years prior during the “Refinance Boom” on a part-time basis. Kathryn reached out to Jodi, as she was looking to work in an environment that was more team-oriented and want to see if there was an opportunity to return. It was perfect timing as Jodi was in need of someone to assist in the Clearance Department. With Kathryn’s wealth of knowledge and 25+ years of experience in the title industry, she began working alongside Jodi to handle all clearance issues on open files as well as process closed file clearance requests.

She has also added to her responsibilities by assisting in the production department as well. Kathryn initially reads an abstract once received from an examiner and then reviews with Caroline to ensure proper detail is given on each file. She also reviews surveys and survey inspections when questions arise and a second eye is needed. During the process, from the time of the application until closing is set, she reviews files to address any open issues to ensure a smooth closing for everyone.

Kathryn is also extremely talented when it comes to crafts, something she is passionate about. She loves making unique gifts for each of us for birthdays and other occasions, which is appreciated and makes us all feel special. We are grateful to have Kathryn back as an integral part of the Dream Team.
